The first two sections, “Who We Are” and “Our Hotels” tell the story of our selected hotels, the Hotel Flora and Locanda Novecento Boutique Hotel and the family who run them. As selecting a hotel in Venice involves a vast number of possibilities, we feel obliged to relate the background of our choices as a demonstration of our seriousness and passion for what we do.
In the section dedicated to tours in Venice we have tried to offer a way out of mass tourism, focussing on the areas favoured by the Venetians themselves, on curious incidents in its history, on the elegance of ancient buildings and the best art, touching as well areas of natural beauty, traditional cuisine, and shopping.
The section “Useful Advice” provides our users with all the information necessary to ensure a perfect visit to the city, illustrating its particular nature, explaining public transport, timetables and other information regarding its airports. The section “Special Offers” focuses on updated promotions from our selected hotels: from optimal exchange rates to special price deals. “Online concierge” is an online version of the courtesy service offered in hotels. Help on where to go shopping, where to eat well, tips on the best excursions etc. We also offer a personal response to specific inquiries – for us the guest is always of prime importance.
Finally the sections “Diary” and “Events” contain a programme of the most important and latest events, from art, culture, sport, theatre, music, cinema, fairs and festivals, local traditons and much more.
