Discover wine tour – Venissa

If you visit the Mazzorbo vineyard you will discover the story of Venissa and the Dorona, the native grape type of the laguna, from which the extremely particular white wines of Venissa come from. Then, you will taste two whites made with Dorona grapes, both from last year, to catch their nuances and uniqueness: Venusa Bianco and Venissa Bianco. Venissa is an elegant estate surrounded by the silence of the northern lagoon. Venissa as we see it today is the product of the Bisol family’s restoration, who chose to give a new life to the grape type Dorona di Venezia – at the time it was extremely appreciated by the Doges – and saved it from complete loss.
