Finally it’s time to go on a journey and believe it or not, these months are perfect for enjoying a visit to Venice. There are many new exhibitions in the city (here we talk about Marco Valmarana and the 2021 Architecture Biennale), the sun warms us with the ideal temperature so that it is difficult not to have an after-work aperitivo or sit in a favourite bar in the morning.
Our collaboration with Ortigia is 7 years old, born when Ortigia became our neighbours in Venice after opening a shop here. Already passionate about their products, we took the opportunity to introduce their fragrances to our spaces.
A friendship was created, strengthened by a shared goal; trying to reduce – and possibly eliminate- single use plastics by replacing them with refillable dispensers, inside Casa Flora, Hotel Flora and Novecento.
Ortigia took inspiration from our sustainability efforts to change their approach to plastic free, eventually creating a line in ceramic and glass. Ortigia Sicilia is now part of our environment and guests recognise us in their fragrances.
