There is a wonderful salon in Campo Santo Stefano, where once the old San Teodoro chemist used to be, which was one of the few authorised herbal shops where they produced the miraculous theriac.
The artifacts, which are produced today there are no less precious. It is to the new owners’ credit that this place, rich in history, has come back to the glories of the past, thanks to the accurate restoration of the marbles and valuable wooden furniture.
The owners, who are goldsmith artisans for two generations, have Lebanese, Greek and Armenian origins, so Venice appears to be the natural place where these multicultral roots may express their creativity.
The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern taste, formed on the solid technique of fine French jewellery, meets the more contemporary Italian style: Faidra Hanna’s creations come from this successful combination.
